How to use these tabs?
Femara (Letrozole) is a pill, used by mouth.
Administrate these tabs exactly as told by your doctor. Donāt take this drug in largerĀ dosages or for longer than indicated by your physician.
You have to administrate this preparation at about the same time every day. You may use this preparation with or without food.
You must not end administrating this preparation without talking with your physician.
The amount of this medicine that you will be given depends on many factors, includingĀ your general health or other health issues, and the kind of tumor or maladyĀ being cured. Your physician will determine your dosage as well asĀ how long you will be using this medication.
Femara (Letrozole)Ā Dosage
The suggested dosage of these tabs is one 2.5 mg pill used one time a day, without regard to meals.
Use this medication exactlyĀ as it was prescribedĀ for you. Do notĀ use this drug in largerĀ quantities or for longer than recommended by your physician.
- TakeĀ each dose with a full glass (8 ounces) of water.
- This drug may be taken with or without food.
To be sure this drug is helping your condition, you will have to be tested on a regular basis. Your bone mineral concentration will also beĀ required to be checked. It is important that you not miss anyĀ scheduled visit to your doctor.
Warning and Precautions
You must not take these pills if you are allergic to letrozole, or in case you have not gone completely through menopause. Before taking Femara (Letrozole), tell your doctor if you have liver disease. You may require a doseĀ modification to safely use this drug. FDA pregnancy category D: These pills may causeĀ damage to fetus. Donāt take Femara (Letrozole) if you are pregnant. InformĀ your doctor if you become pregnant during cure. Donāt take this medicine ifĀ you are breast-feeding.

Femara (Letrozole) NegativeĀ Side Effect
Stop administrating this drug and get emergency health help if you have anyĀ of these signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
- itchiness;
- trouble breathing;
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Less serious side effectsĀ may include:
- hot flashes, warmth or redness in your face or chest;
- headache, muscle or joint pain;
- night terrors;
- weight gain;
- lethargy, feeling weak;
- vomiting;
- swellingĀ in your hands, ankles, or feet.
This isnāt an entire list of adverse consequences andĀ additional side effects may arise. Inform your physician about anyĀ abnormal or bothersome adverse reactions.
Femara (Letrozole) Missed dosage
Take the missedĀ dosage as soon as you remember. If it is near timeĀ for your next dose, skipĀ the missedĀ dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduledĀ time. Donāt use more medication to make up the missedĀ dosage. If you forget a dose, do not administrate a double dose the next day.
Femara (Letrozole) Overdosage

An overdose of these tabs isnāt expected to produce life-threatening effects.
Storage:
Keep this preparation at room temperature and away from humidity and heat.
StoreĀ at 25 gr C (77 gr F); acceptable temperature range for storage isĀ 15-30 gr C (59-86 gr F).
